We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Hand to assist our chefs and ensure our kitchen runs smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for food. You will be a key part of our team, helping with food preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and supporting our chefs in creating delicious south indian dishes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, peeling, and measuring.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and work areas.
- Wash and sanitise kitchen utensils, equipment, and dishes.
- Support the chefs with various tasks as required, including stocking and replenishing supplies.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies when needed.
- Take phone, over the counter orders and serve them with an exceptional customer experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
- Flexibility to work is accordance with the business requirement.
